Winter Showcase
December 13, 2013
4pm and 7pm
An ERA:Remixed takes a retrospective look at some of the most impactful events and iconic figures of the last century. The students present work that reflects their interpretation of how the world and culture was forever changed by these events. Guest choreography by Erica Buechner, Gian Yubance, Asia Sevilla, and Consuelo Suaceda. This performance also showcases student choreography from our Dance One, Dance Two, and Dance Production classes. This is one show not to be missed, as Mission Hills rewrites history.
Progressive Steps March 14, 2014 7pm
Progressive Steps is a collaborate show that takes our students through the steps of becoming a professional dancer. The students have the unique opportunity to work with professional choreographers and college dance programs. The students learn pieces specifically for this performance. It culminates in a full-evening performance and features Mission Hills students, college programs in our area, pre-professional and professional dancers. The students first perform, but will then have the opportunity to watch the college and professional dance pieces.
Spring Show

This show highlights student choreography, Mrs. Almanza's signature modern dance pieces, guest choreographer's work, and guest performers! Our seniors are highlighted with our senior slideshow. This is one show you won't want to miss!
Dance One Show
May 23, 2014 4pm and 7pm
The Dance One show features choreography learned in our beginning dance one classes. The students will have the opportunity to share their own choreography, as well as dance in our guests' choreography. All styles of dance will be represented in this evening's performance and promises to show variety and the remarkable growth of our beginning dancers!
This student led student organization allows students leadership and community service opportunities, as well as allowing them express their creative visions for producing dance events on campus.
